CRM/Project Management Site Template – Released!

The time has finally come to release my CRM site template into the wild.  So for anyone with a SharePoint 2010 Enterprise server or Office 365 tenant wishing to download it can do so from here.

With my latest CSS updates it now offers a new look, and offers the following features:

  • User Friendly – Due to a custom UI
  • Client List/Contacts management
  • Project Management – With associated documents, tasks & sales
  • Sales
  • Client Enquiry – Showing any items related to a client
  • Reporting – Utilising Excel 2010
  • Integrated User Guide

Here’s a screenshot of the updated homepage:

  1. Sure, what error do you get ? Also can you try going to the new site then appending /_layouts/viewlsts.aspx to the address, this will take you to the ‘View All Site Content’ link. I’m interested to see if it restored anything.

      Thanks for your help.

      I got the below error.

      An Unexpected error has occurred.
      Date and TIme : XXXXXXXXX

I see that the new site is getting created. But after the error, site automatically get deleted.

Do i have to enable any specific features in site collection or Site ?

  2. Both the standard and Enterprise (site collection) features need to be enable, but it sounds like you’ve done that otherwise it would be a different error.

I’ve just added a new release to my CodePlex project, so could you please give it a try.

If it still fails and you have SharePoint Designer, could you connect it up to your site and let me know the SharePoint version number ?

  3. No problem with the help, shame I haven’t been able to resolve the problem yet. Thanks for the version number though, what I have done is setup another on premise development environment with an older version that yours. I’m also getting the same problem, so am now working on a fix. Keep an eye on my blog and codeplex for updates – Hopefully it won’t take too long, but the ULS logs aren’t being too helpful.
